Familia De Rubro Monte
Constitution Day
It is an initiative that aims to remember and promote the values of citizenship and reaffirm and consolidate national identity through civic memory. During the event, organized in collaboration with various educational institutions, the Familia de Rubro Monte Association celebrates the event through the “Delivery of the Constitution and the Italian Flag” to the eighth grade students of the Municipalities of Monterosso Calabro, Capistrano and San Nicola da Crissa.
The 1st Edition, on November 29, 2008, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro, the Family de Rubro Monte Association delivered, as part of an “Education to Legality” project, to the eighth grade children of the Municipalities of Monterosso Calabro, San Nicola da Crissa and Capistrano, a copy of the “CONSTITUTION OF THE ITALIAN REPUBLIC” and the “ITALIAN FLAG”. The event was attended by the Headmaster of the State Comprehensive Institute of the Nursery, Primary and Secondary School of Monterosso Calabro, Dr. Consiglia Sorianello, as well as the school staff of the same Institute.
The 2nd Edition, on 12 December 2009, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro, the Family de Rubro Monte Association delivered, as part of an “Education on Legality” project, to the eighth grade children of the Municipalities of Monterosso Calabro, San Nicola da Crissa and Capistrano, a copy of the “CONSTITUTION OF THE ITALIAN REPUBLIC” (kindly offered by Callipo S.p.A.) and the “ITALIAN FLAG”. The event was attended by the Deputy Headmaster of the State Comprehensive Institute of the Nursery, Primary and Secondary School of Monterosso Calabro, the Prefectural Commissioner of the Municipality of Monterosso Calabro Dr. Carla Fragomeni, Pippo Callipo, the Deputy Coordinator of the Provincial School Office of Vibo Valentia Dr. Antonio Petrocca as well as the school staff of the same Institute.
The IVth Edition, on 26 November 2011, at the premises of the State Middle School of Monterosso Calabro, the Family de Rubro Monte Association delivered, to the eighth grade children of the Municipalities of Monterosso Calabro, San Nicola da Crissa and Capistrano, a copy of the “CONSTITUTION OF THE ITALIAN REPUBLIC”, (kindly offered by Callipo S.p.A.) and the “ITALIAN FLAG”.
The V Edition, December 1st 2012, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro.
The VI Edition, November 30, 2013, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro.
The VII Edition, November 29, 2014, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro.
The VIII Edition, 21 May 2016, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro.
The IX Edition, May 21, 2016, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro.
The 11th Edition, on 9 June 2018, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro.
The 12th Edition, 8 June 2019, at the Municipal Theater of Monterosso Calabro.
During all the editions, the Family de Rubro Monte Association delivered a copy of the “CONSTITUTION OF THE ITALIAN REPUBLIC” and the “ITALIAN FLAG” to the eighth grade children of the Municipalities of Monterosso Calabro, Capistrano and San Nicola da Crissa.
Furthermore, three scholarships were awarded by the Association to the most deserving middle school children in the municipalities of Monterosso Calabro, Capistrano and San Nicola da Crissa, to be used for the purchase of books.
